CITIC Securities: Subsidiary Involved in Lawsuit Over False Statements in Dongxu Optoelectronics Securities

CITIC Securities announced that its subsidiary Southern Company is one of the 37 defendants in a case of false statements in securities by Dongxu Optoelectronics. Currently, there are 11 plaintiffs with a total claim amount of 1.8282 million yuan, and the final amount involved in the lawsuit is uncertain. On December 3, 2025, the Hebei High Court ruled to maintain the application of the normal representative litigation procedure and determined the range of beneficiaries as investors from February 15, 2016 to July 5, 2024. The case was caused by the acquisition of Guangzhou Securities' underwriting project, and potential losses were fully taken into account before the acquisition delivery, with no significant impact on the company's profits.
