On the 4th day, the National Health Commission announced that in order to adapt to the development of transfusion medicine, further standardize the scientific and rational use of blood in medical institutions, and ensure the safety of clinical blood transfusions, the National Health Commission has organized experts to revise the technical specifications for clinical blood transfusions and form the "Clinical Blood Transfusion Technology Specification". The person in charge of the Medical Emergency Department of the National Health Commission stated that this revision follows a framework structure for systematic optimization, adheres to a patient-centered approach, changes the title of the document from Clinical Blood Transfusion Technical Specifications to Clinical Blood Transfusion Technology Specifications, emphasizes the management of the entire process of clinical blood transfusion, strengthens the guidance on the rational use of blood in clinical practice, and emphasizes the importance of conserving blood.
