According to SMM data, as the year comes to an end, many leading polysilicon companies have started to reduce production or slow down production, resulting in a polysilicon output in November and December far below expectations. Research shows that the final output of polysilicon in November in China was 114,600 tons, a decrease of 14.48% compared to October. The estimated production of polysilicon in December is 113,500 tons, and polysilicon production is expected to continue to decline. Previously, the market's expectation for polysilicon production in November was generally around 120,000 tons. According to data statistics, due to downstream demand near the end of the year, silicon wafer companies have also started significantly reducing production, with the final output of silicon wafers in November at 54.37 GW; the estimated production of silicon wafers in December is 45.7 GW. In comparison, there is still inventory pressure on polysilicon.
