The State Administration for Market Regulation announces three typical cases of antitrust review of concentration of operators.
In order to fully demonstrate the exemplary role of typical cases and assist in the compliant development of business entities, the State Administration for Market Regulation will further strengthen the transparency of cases related to business concentration review. In addition to the existing public disclosure system for cases involving business concentration, conditional approvals, prohibitions, and unconditional approvals, the Administration will also release three typical cases of non-simplified cases that have been unconditionally approved. These typical cases cover different types of transactions and industries, such as the horizontal concentration of Hangzhou State-owned Capital Investment Operation Co., Ltd. acquiring the equity of Zhejiang Yingde Holdings Group Co., Ltd. in the industrial gas field, and the vertical concentration of Gaoji Medicine Co., Ltd. acquiring the equity of Tianji Dafang Chain Co., Ltd. in the pharmaceutical retail sector. The publication of these typical cases is beneficial for helping companies improve their declaration efficiency and quality, creating an open, transparent, and predictable institutional environment for investment and mergers and acquisitions.
