According to the Secretary of the National Seawater Desalination Industry Alliance, the development of seawater desalination industry in China is growing rapidly. In recent years, the added value of seawater desalination and comprehensive utilization industry in China has increased by an average of 5.6% per year, reaching 33.7 billion yuan by 2024. By the end of August this year, the total scale of seawater desalination projects in China exceeded 2.9 million tons per day, achieving the goal of the "14th Five-Year Plan" ahead of schedule.
