Internet celebrity account found to have engaged in illegal activities
Recently, the Internet supervision department has directed relevant website platforms to legally address the illegal and irregular behaviors of internet celebrities' accounts. The following typical cases are now being reported:
1. The online account "Hu Chen Feng" has been fabricating statements that incite group opposition such as "Android people" and "Apple people" on multiple platforms. The related accounts on various platforms have been closed.
2. The Weibo account "Guo Mei May Effort Effort", Xiaohongshu account "Yi Yan LuLu", Kwai account "Wangchuan", TikTok account "Ayuki_888", and WeChat video account "Zhou Xikai XK" have continuously promoted negative values such as flaunting wealth and materialism. The related accounts have been closed or subject to long-term bans.
3. The Weibo account "Lan Xi" has posted content promoting overseas pornographic films, and the TikTok anchor "Zhang Xuefeng" has used vulgar language for a long time during live broadcasts. The related accounts have been temporarily banned or suspended.
4. According to the tax department's report on cases of online anchors tax evasion, the TikTok and Kwai accounts "Little Shadow Couple" and "Yebu Wuxinxin" have been subject to long-term bans, suspension of live broadcasts, and temporary suspension of profit-making permissions. The online anchor "Wang Zibai" had his related account closed earlier due to tax evasion and flaunting wealth, but was recently found to have re-registered. The internet supervision department has urged relevant platforms to conduct inspections and address the situation.
Internet celebrities' accounts have a large influence and high social attention. Operators should consciously abide by the law when using the internet, conduct themselves in a civilized manner, and use internet traffic reasonably.
