According to "Chengdu Release", the construction of the Chengdu Wog project has recently received news that the first equipment has been officially transported onto the site, marking the entry into the equipment debugging phase of the world's first and domestic first 8.6th generation AMOLED glass-based photolithography and precision processing production line invested by Wog Optoelectronics with 6.28 billion yuan. It is expected to start the trial operation and product development of the fully automatic etching ECI production line in mid-January 2026. Currently, Wog Optoelectronics is the only supplier of glass thinning process for BOE's 8.6th generation AMOLED panel production line. After the completion and commissioning of the Chengdu Wog project, it will be connected to the upcoming BOE B16 project in the industry chain, significantly reducing the supply chain response time, lowering logistics costs and supply chain risks through localized production, and providing assurance for the mass production standard of the B16 project.
