Shandong Province aims to increase the number of counties with a GDP over 100 billion by the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan to more than 40.

On the morning of December 3, the Communist Party of China Shandong Provincial Committee held a press conference. During the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, efforts will be made to enhance the level of integrated development in the whole region, continue to implement the breakthrough Shandong Ruxi Rise Action in Heze, accelerate the revitalization and development of the Yimeng revolutionary old area, especially to promote the development of county economy in a larger and stronger way. Currently, there are 28 counties with a total economic output of over one trillion yuan in the province. In the future, guidance and support will be strengthened in the layout of key industries and projects, striving to increase the number of counties with a total economic output over one trillion yuan to more than 40 by the end of the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period.
