Today, reporters learned at the 2025 China International Maritime Expo that China Merchants Shipbuilding Industry's Qingdao Shipyard has signed a contract for 6 342,000-ton super large ore carriers with the German super large bulk and natural gas transportation shipowner Neu Seeschiffahrt. According to China Merchants Shipbuilding Industry, this is the first batch of VLOC orders undertaken by China Merchants Shipbuilding Industry's Qingdao Shipyard after integrating into the China Merchants system.
