The inaugural Greater Bay Area Marine Underwater Robot Application Challenge has been launched.

On December 2nd, the first Greater Bay Area Marine Underwater Robot Application Challenge was launched in Zhuhai, with the finals scheduled for March 26, 2026. The competition focuses on the key needs of disaster prevention and reduction in marine ranches, with a core of "application orientation and scenario traction". It sets up two major tracks of "inspection and monitoring" and "precision operations", using the evaluation mode of "practical demonstration + solution roadshow". The competition topic revolves around the full chain design of "prevention before the event, repair after the disaster", aiming to crack industrial pain points through "promoting use through competition" and accelerating the commercialization of underwater robot technology from the laboratory to industry.
