According to publicly available information, the carbon emissions from producing one ton of ethylene using light hydrocarbons as raw materials are approximately one-third of the route using naphtha to produce olefins, and one-tenth of the route using coal to produce olefins, which has significant advantages. The company adheres to green and low-carbon development, and has released ESG reports for five consecutive years. It plans to use 2020 as the base year and strive to achieve a cumulative reduction of over 2 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions by 2030; and to achieve carbon neutrality in the value chain by 2050.
