On the morning of December 3, Manulife Financial announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that it has priced the $1 billion principal amount of 4.986% senior notes due in 2035 issued in the United States. The offer price of the public issuance is 100 basis points. The company plans to use the net proceeds from the sale of these notes for general corporate purposes, which may include future refinancing needs.
