Amazon announced that it will launch a pilot program in Philadelphia and its headquarters in Seattle to provide half-hour delivery service for hundreds of everyday household items (including some fresh foods and non-prescription drugs). The company stated in a statement on Monday that this service will be delivered through specialized small delivery facilities. The delivery fee starts at $13.99 and Prime members can enjoy a discounted price of $3.99.
