Congo declares the end of the 16th round of the Ebola epidemic.

According to the World Health Organization, on December 1st, the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo officially declared the end of the 16th Ebola outbreak in the country. There have been no new cases reported within the 42-day monitoring period since the last patient recovered on October 19th.
