Establishment of the Green Development Investment and Financing Partnership Steering Committee by two departments.

At a recent routine press conference held by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, spokesperson Pei Xiaofei introduced that the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the People's Bank of China have decided to establish a Green Development Investment and Financing Cooperation Partners Steering Committee to promote China's green finance "going global" and provide policy advice and guidance for major financial cooperation in green development of the Belt and Road Initiative. It is reported that in the next step, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the People's Bank of China will improve the coordination mechanism through the "Steering Committee," strengthen overall management, provide guidance and support for green investment and financing cooperation of the Belt and Road Initiative, and provide high-level support for green development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
