Shanghai Pharmaceuticals Holding (02607) announced that recently, its subsidiary Shanghai SPH Ruier Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. received the Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice issued by the National Medical Products Administration for Treprostinil Diethanolamine Inhalation Powder. Treprostinil Diethanolamine Inhalation Powder is a Class 2.2 improved innovative drug. Its active ingredient is treprostinil diethanolamine, a synthetic prostacyclin derivative, intended for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH, WHO Group 1) to alleviate exercise-induced associated symptoms. Its mechanism of action is primarily through direct vasodilation of the pulmonary and systemic arterial vascular beds and inhibition of platelet aggregation. As of the disclosure date of this announcement, the project has accumulated R&D investment of approximately RMB21.41 million.
