China Rare Earth (00769) announced that, with effect from October 18, 2026, Mr. Zhang Chengcai has resigned as an independent non-executive director of the Company, chairman of the remuneration committee, chairman of the nomination committee and a member of the audit committee due to his intention to devote more time to other business. Mr. Wu Wenchang has been re-designated as chairman of the remuneration committee and the nomination committee.
