JIAXIN INTL RES (03858) rose nearly 6% in morning trading. As of press time, it was up 4.82% at HK$38.68, with a turnover of HK$54.40 million. On the news front, on October 19, CME announced that it will launch tungsten futures contracts to meet growing market demand for price risk management tools. It is reported that CME plans to launch the contract in the first quarter of 2027. The contract will be cash-settled, meaning buyers cannot obtain tungsten through physical delivery of the contract, but can use the contract to hedge against risks arising from fluctuations in tungsten prices. Guotou Securities International previously noted that JIAXIN INTL RES is a pure tungsten concentrate target on the Hong Kong stock market. Benefiting from an increase in the average selling price of tungsten concentrate and higher output in the first half of the year, the company turned its net profit attributable to shareholders from a loss to a profit year-on-year in the first half, achieving rapid growth.
