On Friday, the selloff continued, with the Nasdaq 100 plunging 1.3% and most star tech stocks falling. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US) and Intel Corporation (INTC.US) dropped over 3%, while SpaceX (SPCX.US), Meta (META.US), and Broadcom Inc. (AVGO.US) fell more than 2%. Microsoft Corporation (MSFT.US) and Alphabet Inc. Class C (GOOGL.US) declined over 1%.
Financial market analysis platform The Market Ear believes that the Nasdaq 100 Index (NDX) is undergoing a dual test on both technical and fundamental fronts. After a sharp selloff, the index formed a hammer reversal candlestick at the convergence of a key trend support level and the 100-day moving average, where bulls and bears are engaged in a decisive battle. If the support holds, it could trigger a powerful short squeeze; if it breaks below, the market may deteriorate rapidly.
