The 2026 China International Aluminum Conference opens, with co-organizer CHINAHONGQIAO (01378) joining all parties to win together a bright "aluminum" journey.

On October 15, the 2026 China International Aluminum Conference opened in Qingdao, Shandong. The event is co-hosted by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and CHINAHONGQIAO Group Co., Ltd. In his speech, Zhang Bo said that affected by the international situation and market fluctuations, competition in the aluminum industry is becoming increasingly fierce, but the application scenarios for aluminum are still expanding rapidly. Automotive lightweighting and integrated die-casting are driving continuous growth in aluminum use per vehicle, while photovoltaics and energy storage are boosting demand for aluminum materials. As a core material for liquid cooling and heat dissipation and 5G base stations, aluminum has become a "computing power metal." At the same time, high-end aluminum alloys are constantly breaking through technological bottlenecks, laying a solid material foundation for large aircraft, the low-altitude economy, and high-end equipment manufacturing. Relying on intelligent upgrading and aluminum recycling and grade-preserving utilization technologies, the aluminum industry has opened up a full life-cycle low-carbon cycle from mining, smelting, and deep processing to recycling. The aluminum industry is becoming a key hub connecting the integrated development of new energy, new materials, and high-end equipment industries.
