Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals (01276): SHR-3201 Injection Approved for Clinical Trials

Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals (01276) announced that recently, Beijing Shengdi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), received the Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notice issued by the National Medical Products Administration (hereinafter referred to as the "NMPA") for SHR-3201 Injection, and will commence clinical trials in the near future. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive neurocognitive disease that gradually erodes patients' memory, judgment, cognition, and learning ability, and is the leading cause of dementia in the elderly population. AD can affect patients' emotions, thinking, and behavior, as well as overall personality traits, temperament, and self-perception, causing severe family and social burdens. SHR-3201 Injection is a drug independently developed by the Company for the treatment of AD, which can clear disease biomarkers in patients' brains and delay cognitive decline. Upon inquiry, no similar drugs have been approved for marketing domestically or internationally. To date, the cumulative R&D investment in SHR-3201 Injection-related projects is approximately RMB 48.8 million (unaudited).
