SK Hynix (SKHY.US) reiterated on Thursday that it has not yet made any decision regarding the future financing needs of its U.S. subsidiary Solidigm, despite media reports suggesting the company may pursue a dual listing. The company said in a statement: "Potential financing options include internal funds or external capital, and any decision will be weighed against the investment needs of HBM, server DRAM, and eSSD, as well as market conditions and broader capital allocation plans." SK Hynix added that long-term corporate value and shareholder value will be the primary criteria before any decision is made, including potential equity dilution concerns. The South Korean memory giant also said it will assess potential dilution and the protection of existing shareholders. The company made a similar statement last month. Recently, media reports indicated that Solidigm may pursue a dual listing in the United States and South Korea. Last month, reports said SK Hynix is considering an initial public offering that would value the unit at $150 billion. According to multiple people familiar with the matter, the unit held meetings with several investment banks in late September. Solidigm is SK Hynix's NAND flash and solid-state drive division, with part of its business originating from SK Hynix's 2020 acquisition of Intel Corporation's (INTC.US) NAND division.
