On the news front, Eli Lilly announced the signing of a research and development collaboration and licensing agreement with InnoCare Pharma. The two parties will engage in strategic cooperation in the field of innovative drug research and development. InnoCare Pharma will leverage its proprietary drug discovery platform and extensive research experience to discover and develop up to 5 innovative target projects to address major unmet clinical needs. Under the terms of the agreement, Eli Lilly will pay InnoCare Pharma up to $100 million in upfront and near-term milestone payments. The total potential research, development, and commercialization milestone payments amount to approximately $3.25 billion.
