On Tuesday, US memory concept stocks rallied in early trading. SanDisk (SNDK.US) rose over 7%, hitting a new high since early July, with a total market value of $277.3 billion; Seagate Technology Holdings PLC (STX.US) rose over 3%, Western Digital Corporation (WDC.US) and SK Hynix (SKHY.US) rose over 2%, and Micron Technology, Inc. (MU.US) rose nearly 2%. On the news front, major Wall Street banks have recently released a flurry of bullish reports, optimistic about the long-term logic of AI inference demand reshaping NAND flash, as well as the persistently tight supply-side landscape. Rosenblatt Securities initiated coverage on SanDisk today with a "Buy" rating and a $2,400 price target, noting that the expansion of AI model scale and the growth in inference task data volume will continue to drive up NAND demand. Citi published a report the same day, forecasting that enterprise SSD demand will grow 52.9% year-over-year in 2027, reiterating a "Buy" rating on SK Hynix. A UBS Group AG report also pointed out that Meta's intelligent agent Muse has ignited AI computing power demand, with memory and semiconductor equipment standing at the forefront, and HBM, server DRAM, and storage infrastructure serving as the core support for efficient data transportation. In addition, Micron Technology, Inc. will release its earnings this week, and the market holds expectations for the continued prosperity of the memory industry.
