BOYAA (00434) announced that during the past week, the Group conducted a series of transactions on the open market, further purchasing a total of approximately 152 bitcoins for an aggregate consideration of approximately HK$90.63 million (equivalent to approximately US$11.56 million), at an acquisition cost of approximately US$75,899 per bitcoin (Bitcoin purchases). Following the completion of these purchases, as at the date of this announcement, the Group held a total of approximately 4,468 bitcoins, at an average cost of approximately US$68,543 per bitcoin. The consideration for the Bitcoin purchases was paid from idle cash reserves generated from the Group's business operations and was determined based on the bid and ask prices of bitcoin on the open market.
