BRETON (01333) completes placement of a total of 16.6 million shares, raising approximately HK$159 million net
BRETON (01333) announced that all conditions under the placing agreement have been fulfilled, and the placing was completed on September 18, 2026. A total of 16.6 million new H shares (representing approximately 4.42% and approximately 4.07% of the issued H shares and the total number of issued shares (excluding treasury shares), respectively, as enlarged by the allotment and issue of the placing shares immediately after completion of the placing) were successfully placed to not fewer than six placees at the placing price of HK$10.28 per H share in accordance with the terms and subject to the conditions set out in the placing agreement.

The gross proceeds and net proceeds (after deducting commissions and estimated expenses) from this placing are approximately HK$171 million and approximately HK$159 million, respectively.
The Company intends to apply: (i) approximately 60% of the net proceeds from the placing for investment in and development of Phase 1 of the Ouahigouya Project, expected to be fully utilized by the end of the second quarter of 2027; (ii) approximately 20% of the net proceeds from the placing for autonomous mining truck technology upgrades and demonstration-scale applications, expected to be fully utilized by the end of the fourth quarter of 2027; and (iii) approximately 20% of the net proceeds from the placing for working capital and general corporate purposes, expected to be fully utilized by the end of the fourth quarter of 2026.
