On September 17, HKD interbank rates were mixed, with the one-month rate, which is linked to mortgage loans, reported at 2.90000%, down 5.000 basis points; the three-month rate, which reflects banks' funding costs, was reported at 3.10161%, down 2.327 basis points. The overnight rate was reported at 2.17964%, down 1.798 basis points; the one-week rate fell 4.363 basis points to 2.39804%, while the two-week rate rose 6.923 basis points to 2.72042%. The two-month rate fell 1.423 basis points to 3.01470%. In terms of long-term rates, the six-month rate rose 5.691 basis points to 3.40691%, while the one-year rate rose 5.691 basis points to 3.80691%.
