FURNIWEB (08480) has issued a notice concerning, among other things, a winding-up petition filed against PRG Holdings Berhad (the holding company, which is the company's controlling shareholder) and the application for a judicial management order submitted by the holding company to the High Court of Malaysia (Judicial Management Application). The Board of Directors (Board) learned from the announcement issued by the holding company on August 19, 2026, that the High Court of Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) (Court) has scheduled the hearing date for the Judicial Management Application for September 21, 2026. The Board further learned from the announcement made by the holding company on August 24, 2026, that the holding company submitted its application to the Court on August 13, 2026, for the appointment of Mr. Andrew Heng and Mr. Ashvin Mahendran of Baker Tilly Insolvency PLT as temporary judicial managers of the holding company (Temporary Judicial Management Application) prior to the hearing of the Judicial Management Application on September 21, 2026. Subsequently, according to announcements issued by the holding company on August 26, 2026, September 1, 2026, and September 3, 2026, the Court granted a sealing order on August 26, 2026, appointing Mr. Andrew Heng and Mr. Ashvin Mahendran of Baker Tilly Insolvency PLT as temporary judicial managers of the holding company (Temporary Judicial Managers), effective from August 26, 2026. The Board hereby emphasizes that the holding company is a legal entity independent of the company and the group. The appointment of temporary judicial managers only pertains to the holding company and does not affect any member companies of the group. Based on the currently available information, the Board believes that the developments related to the holding company do not have any significant adverse impact on the group's daily business operations and financial condition, and the group's operations and financial condition remain normal.
