Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals (01276) announced that its subsidiary, Guangdong Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"), has recently received the Clinical Trial Approval Notice from the National Medical Products Administration (hereinafter referred to as "the NMPA") for SHR-1179 Injection, and clinical trials will commence in the near future. SHR-1179 Injection is a Class 1 biological product developed independently by the Company, intended for weight management indications. No other drug with the same target has been approved for the market, either domestically or internationally. So far, the total research and development investment related to SHR-1179 Injection has reached approximately 24.2 million yuan (unaudited).
