On Friday, semiconductor stocks in the US rose, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index expanding its gains to over 3%. As of the time of this report, NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US) was up more than 2%, with its stock price nearing an all-time high; Applied Materials (AMAT.US) rose over 5%, Marvell Technology, Inc. (MRVL.US), Micron Technology, Inc. (MU.US), and ASML Holding NV ADR (ASML.US) were all up over 4%, while Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US) and Intel Corporation (INTC.US) increased by more than 3%, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
