Smart ring manufacturer Oura is accelerating its initial public offering (IPO) process and announced on Wednesday the expansion of its board of directors with the addition of four independent directors who have experience with public companies.

Oura CEO Tom Hale stated in a press release that the new members have held leadership positions at well-known companies such as Netflix (NFLX.US), Robinhood Markets Inc. (HOOD.US), and Deliveroo Plc, and are "well versed in the path to building and scaling category-defining global businesses."
According to previous reports, Oura is seeking to raise up to $3 billion in its IPO in the U.S., with a potential listing as early as this month.
The new board members include:
Jason Warnickwho served as CFO of Robinhood for seven years, leading the online broker's IPO and post-listing business expansion. Prior to that, he worked at Amazon.com Inc. for nearly 20 years, overseeing financial matters such as investor relations, auditing, and corporate risk.
Leslie Kilgoreformer Chief Marketing Officer of Netflix, who has also worked at Amazon.com, Inc. and Procter & Gamble Company, and has served on the boards of several companies including Netflix and Pinterest Inc.
Miki Kuusico-founder of Wolt, who served as CEO from the company's founding in 2014 until its acquisition by DoorDash Inc. in 2022. After the acquisition, he remained with the American delivery giant and is currently the CEO of Deliveroo, which is under DoorDash.
David Szea partner at Greylock Partners, who previously held senior operational roles at Excite and Excite@Home, focusing on expanding media and consumer internet businesses. His portfolio includes companies such as LinkedIn, Roblox, Pandora, and former Facebook.
Oura, headquartered primarily in San Francisco and Finland, submitted its IPO application in a confidential manner in May of this year. Reports indicate that the company is working with Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Allen & Co., and Jefferies Financial Group Inc. to advance its listing plans.
