Melco International Development Limited (01680) announced that the group is expected to record a loss of approximately HKD 137 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026, compared to a loss of approximately HKD 14.21 billion for the six months ending June 30, 2025. The significant reduction in loss is mainly attributed to the absence of any impairment losses on non-financial assets recognized during the reporting period, whereas the same period last year recorded substantial impairment losses of approximately HKD 12.72 billion related to continuing operations.
