According to reports citing informed sources, Beijing Xingdong Jiyuan Technology Co., Ltd. (Robotera) plans to make its initial public offering (IPO) in Hong Kong, expecting to raise between $800 million and $1 billion (approximately HKD 6.24 billion to HKD 7.8 billion). Relevant discussions are still ongoing, and details such as the fundraising scale may change. Robotera has not commented. The official website of Xingdong Jiyuan shows that the company was established in August 2023 and is the only equity-holding embodied intelligence enterprise of Tsinghua University, founded by Jianyu Chen, a doctoral advisor and assistant professor at Tsinghua University. Last July, Xingdong Jiyuan announced that it completed nearly 500 million RMB in Series A financing and has achieved large-scale delivery of its products; among the worlds top ten technology companies by market value, nine are clients of Xingdong Jiyuan. Reports indicate that in April this year, the company completed a round of financing of $200 million led by SF Group, with participation from investors including HSG, IDG Capital, and Hillhouse Capital. The company's products are currently applied in the logistics industry and are expanding into the automotive, electronics, and service sectors.
