In news, recently, LEE'S PHARM announced that the groups new drug clinical trial (IND) application for ZK2401 has been accepted by the Center for Drug Evaluation of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China. ZK2401 is a proprietary antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) project independently developed by LEE'S PHARM, which holds complete global intellectual property rights for the molecule. ZK2401 is based on LEE'S PHARMs self-developed anti-PD-L1 antibody Socazolimab and is conjugated with a novel topoisomerase I inhibitor payload. As the first project of LEE'S PHARMs ADC platform, ZK2401 marks an important starting point for the groups advancement of this platform. The Board believes that submitting this IND application is a significant milestone for the groups innovative pipeline in the field of oncology. This project demonstrates LEE'S PHARM's ongoing independent research and development capabilities in fully self-developed innovative biologics and ADC assets, aligning with the group's strategic focus on differentiated products based on patented technology that have significant clinical potential and defensive competitive advantages. To date, Socazolimab has been approved for marketing by the NMPA in China for two indications: as a first-line treatment in combination with chemotherapy for extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC) and for the treatment of recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer.
