China Gold International (02099) announced its mid-year results for 2026, with sales revenue of approximately $914 million, an increase of 57.52% year-on-year. The operating profit from mining was approximately $620 million, a year-on-year increase of 123.83%; profit attributable to owners of the company was about $507 million, a year-on-year increase of 153.31%; earnings per share were 127.99 US cents. The total gold production decreased by 18% to 72,300 ounces from 88,200 ounces in the same period of 2025. Total copper production was 78.6 million pounds (approximately 35,671 tons), a slight increase from 77 million pounds (approximately 34,924 tons) in the same period of 2025.

Of this, sales revenue from the Changshanhao mine was $224.5 million, an increase of $60.8 million compared to the same period in 2025. The average realized price of gold rose by 52% from $3,094 per ounce in the first six months of 2025 to $4,703 per ounce in the same period of 2026. Gold sales from the Changshanhao mine amounted to 47,724 ounces (gold production: 42,853 ounces), compared to 52,893 ounces (gold production: 45,829 ounces) in the same period of 2025. Sales revenue from the Jiaman mining area was approximately $690 million, an increase of $273 million compared to the same period in 2025. The average realized price of copper increased by 73% from $2.70 per pound in the first six months of 2025 to $4.66 per pound in the same period of 2026. As of June 30, 2026, total copper sales volume was 35,035 tons (77.2 million pounds), a 2% increase compared to 34,292 tons (75.6 million pounds) in the same period of 2025.
