Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals (01276): SHR-7590 injection has obtained the Drug Clinical Trial Approval Notification.
Hengrui Medicine (01276) announced that its subsidiary, Guangdong Hengrui Medicine Co., Ltd., has recently received the Clinical Trial Approval Notice from the National Medical Products Administration for SHR-7590 injection, and will soon commence clinical trials.
Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals (01276) announced that recently, its subsidiary Guangdong Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. received the approval notice for the clinical trial of SHR-7590 injection issued by the National Medical Products Administration, and clinical trials will be conducted in the near future.
SHR-7590 injection is a biologic developed independently by the company, which can effectively inhibit inflammation and improve disease scores and intestinal tissue pathology in animal models of inflammatory bowel disease. Currently, no drugs targeting the same mechanism have been approved for marketing worldwide. So far, the total research and development investment related to SHR-7590 injection has reached approximately 32.5 million yuan (unaudited).
