This individual reportedly intends to provide access to or sell these records (suspected incident). Upon learning of the suspected incident, the Group promptly initiated an investigation to assess whether there had been any unauthorized access or leakage of personal data as claimed. If the situation is validated, the Group will evaluate the nature and extent of the unauthorized access or data breach, the categories of affected data, the underlying cause of the suspected incident, and the security status of the Groups systems and servers. The Group will take appropriate further action based on the progress of the investigation. The Group has informed the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency and the Australian Cyber Security Centre of the suspected incident. After seeking further legal advice, the Group will take appropriate actions and, if necessary, notify other relevant institutions to ensure the fulfillment of all responsibilities, and will actively cooperate with and assist any inquiries or investigations. The Group is committed to protecting student data and privacy through regular reviews and enhancements of information security and cybersecurity measures. The Group will continue to assess any potential impact of the suspected incident on operations and finances.
