Fosun Pharma (600196.SH) announced that its holding subsidiary, Fosun Wanhui (Jiangsu) Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Fosun Wanhui"), has received approval from the National Medical Products Administration to conduct clinical trials on the use of DM1001 formulation for treating signs and symptoms of idiopathic Parkinson's disease in adults. Fosun Wanhui plans to conduct Phase I clinical trials of the drug in China once the conditions are met. The drug is a chemical compound. According to the latest data from IQVIA CHPA, the sales of the same compound drug in China are expected to reach around 375 million yuan by 2025.
