HUADIAN POWER (01071) announced that as of June 30, 2026, Huadian Power Limited (hereinafter referred to as the Company) and its subsidiaries (hereinafter referred to as the Group) had cumulatively generated 1.08 billion megawatt hours of electricity in the first half of 2026, a decrease of approximately 10.65% compared to the same period last year; and the amount of electricity sent to the grid was 1.01 billion megawatt hours, a decrease of approximately 10.82% compared to the same period last year. The main reasons for the decline in electricity generation and grid dispatch in the first half of 2026 were the good water supply in regions with abundant hydropower resources, the continuous increase in new energy installed capacity, and the addition of coal-fired power plant capacity, all of which have collectively squeezed the operating space of existing power generation units. Additionally, in some regions where the Group's assets are located, lower summer temperatures have led to reduced peak demand for electricity, resulting in a decrease in operating hours for thermal power generation units. According to preliminary calculations, the average grid dispatch price for the group in the first half of 2026 was approximately RMB 517.70 per megawatt hour, an increase of approximately RMB 0.91 per megawatt hour compared to the same period last year, representing a year-on-year growth of approximately 0.18%.
