Z FIN (01168): Haitong Financing appointed as independent financial advisor
FIN (01168) issued a notice that HoTak Financing Limited, a licensed corporation under the Securities and Futures Ordinance to engage in regulated activities of Type 4 (advising on securities), Type 6 (advising on corporate finance) and Type 9 (asset management), has been appointed as an independent financial advisor to provide advice to the independent board committee on the proposal. The independent board committee (comprising all independent non-executive directors, namely Mr. Zhang Jiaqing, Mr. Tian Jing, and Mr. Xin Luolin) has been formed by the board of directors and has approved the appointment of HoTak Financing Limited in accordance with Rule 2.1 of the Takeovers Code.
FIN (01168) announced that Howden Financing Limited, a licensed corporation under the Securities and Futures Ordinance to engage in regulated activities of type 4 (providing advice on securities), type 6 (providing advice on corporate finance), and type 9 (providing asset management), has been appointed as the independent financial advisor to provide advice on the proposal to the independent directors' committee. The independent directors' committee (comprised of all independent non-executive directors, namely Mr. Cheung Ka Hing, Mr. Tin King, and Mr. Sin Lo Lam) has been established by the board of directors and approval has been granted in accordance with Rule 2.1 of the Takeovers Code for the appointment of Howden Financing Limited.
