According to data from the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, as of the first half of 2026, CALB ranked fourth in terms of the volume of vehicles equipped with its batteries among domestic power battery companies. CALB issued a statement in response, stating that some Guangqi Aion AION S vehicles have experienced battery system failures under specific conditions. The company will provide a dedicated maintenance channel to offer free battery system testing, repair, and maintenance services to vehicle owners. It is noteworthy that, according to media reports, the outbreak of these faults has been concentrated in the 150,000 to 300,000 kilometer range, which coincides with a sensitive period when many commercial vehicles are just reaching or about to exceed the manufacturer's warranty period.
