Apeloa Pharmaceutical's subsidiary, gabapentin API, has obtained the European CEP certificate.

Puluo Pharmaceutical (000739.SZ) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Zhejiang Puluo Jiayuan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has recently received the European Pharmacopoeia Suitability Certificate (referred to as "CEP certificate") for the raw material gabapentin issued by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines (EDQM). Gabapentin is an artificial synthesis amino acid that is similar to the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). Indications include: 1. Postherpetic neuralgia: for the treatment of post-herpetic neuralgia in adults; 2. Epilepsy: as an adjunctive treatment for partial seizures in adults and children over 12 years of age, with or without secondary generalized tonic-clonic seizures; can also be used as an adjunctive treatment for partial seizures in children aged 3-12.
