On the news front, according to market media reports, the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference will be held in Shanghai from July 17th to July 20th. Xizhi Technology will unveil the world's first integrated edge computing box based on optoelectronic hybrid computing chip at the conference - Tian Shu Guang Li Cube. This product integrates optical computing chips, CPU, memory, active cooling and full interface system, and can be deployed out of the box. Currently, this product has been the first to achieve real high-frequency commercial use in civil scenarios worldwide, supporting AI tasks such as facial recognition. Shenwan Hongyuan Group stated that the market may not fully recognize the difference between Xizhi and optical module manufacturers. Xizhi is a light-asset chip design company, not a heavy-asset module assembly manufacturer. Xizhi focuses on the research and development of underlying optoelectronic chips, original solution design, core IP, and full-stack patents, using a light-asset model; while optoelectronic module manufacturers such as Xuchuang mainly focus on device integration and large-scale manufacturing, belonging to a heavy-asset model. The company has accumulated 410 patents, with more than 50% being able to simultaneously adapt to optical interconnection and optical computing.
