The Ministry of Commerce held a regular press conference on June 25. Ministry of Commerce spokesperson He Yadong answered questions from reporters, stating that as of June 2026, the Ministry of Commerce has launched more than 500 key foreign investment projects, including more than 70 iconic foreign-funded projects. These projects are mainly concentrated in the manufacturing sectors such as chemical energy, electromechanical equipment, electronic information, automobiles, and medical health, with a total investment exceeding 300 billion US dollars. The Ministry of Commerce has established a series of service guarantee mechanisms. For example, coordinating with relevant departments to enhance project information sharing, strengthening guarantees for project elements such as land use, energy use, labor, and environmental assessment; guiding local governments to establish point-to-point communication mechanisms for projects to respond quickly to project issues; and conducting on-site activities to listen to business demands and promote solutions. In the next step, the Ministry of Commerce will continue to strengthen the service guarantee for foreign investment projects to attract more foreign companies to invest in and deepen their roots in China. Thank you.
