SUNHO BIO-B (02898) announced that on June 17, 2026, an independent investigation committee appointed CLA Advisory (Hong Kong) Limited as an independent forensic investigation agency to conduct an independent investigation into the matter. Factors considered by the independent investigation committee when appointing the investigation agency include (among others): (i) The investigation agency is an independent third party, with no connection to any major shareholders, directors, or departing or newly appointed auditors of the company. The investigation agency has confirmed that it has no prior or existing business relationship with the group, and such a relationship is not considered to impair its independence in conducting the investigation. (ii) The investigation agency will deploy a specialized forensic team of 8 people to conduct the independent investigation. The project team will be led by a senior partner with over 18 years of audit and forensic experience. All project team members have extensive experience in conducting complex financial investigations in Hong Kong and mainland China. (iii) The project team has a track record of successfully conducting independent forensic investigations for companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange; and (iv) The investigation agency has committed to setting a practical timetable that aligns with the company's timetable for complying with the resumption guidance. Based on these factors, the independent investigation committee has concluded that the investigation agency has independence and possesses the qualifications, experience, and resources necessary to conduct the investigation. Additionally, the company's shares will continue to be suspended.
