As of the end of April 2026, China Securities Index Company has issued a total of 173 sustainable indices including ESG, with 120 stock indices, 50 bond indices, and 3 multi-asset indices.
As of the end of April 2026, China Securities Index Company has issued a total of 173 sustainable indices, including 120 stock indices, 50 bond indices, and 3 multi-asset indices. Currently, based on the CSI 300, CSI 500, CSI 800, CSI 1000, SSE 50, SSE 180, and SSE 380 broad-based ESG indices continue to be enriched, forming a series of ESG benchmarks, ESG leaders, and ESG strategies. There are 97 products tracking ESG sustainable indices, with a total size of 830.97 billion yuan. There are also 195 products based on the "A series" indices and SSE 180 index using CSI ESG assessment, with a total size of 2855.3 billion yuan.
Note: The size of ETF funds is calculated based on the net asset value at the end of the previous month multiplied by the number of shares, and the size of other funds is based on the latest quarterly report data.

Performance of CSI ESG indices
As of the end of April 2026, in the latest constituent stocks of CSI 300, CSI 500, and CSI 800 ESG benchmark indices, 94.85%, 77.26%, and 85.01% of listed companies respectively disclosed greenhouse gas emissions, with average social contribution values of 707.62 billion yuan, 47.22 billion yuan, and 304.46 billion yuan, all higher than the constituent stocks of the CSI 300, CSI 500, and CSI 800 indices, reflecting the outstanding ESG performance of the ESG benchmark indices compared to the parent indices.
