User base surpasses 3 billion! Alphabet Inc. Class C (GOOGL.US) accelerates AI ecosystem integration, search engine undergoes biggest redesign in 25 years.
Alphabet's Google is further integrating artificial intelligence deeply into its own ecosystem.
Under the Alphabet umbrella, Alphabet Inc. Class C (GOOGL.US, GOOG.US) is further integrating artificial intelligence into its own ecosystem. At the Alphabet Inc. Class C Developers Conference in 2026, Alphabet Inc. Class C CEO Sundar Pichai stated that the company has entered a new phase, where users now expect AI to truly create "real value" in everyday products.
Pichai revealed that Alphabet Inc. Class C currently has 13 products with over 1 billion users. Among them, global user bases of the top five products - Alphabet Inc. Class C Search, Gmail, Android, Alphabet Inc. Class C Browser, and YouTube - have all exceeded 3 billion.
One of the most anticipated updates at the conference was the largest redesign of Alphabet Inc. Class C Search in 25 years. Unlike previous launches of AI tools separately, this time Alphabet Inc. Class C chose to directly integrate AI into the core search box.
In the future, users will not only be able to input longer and more complex queries, but also upload images, videos, files, and even Chrome tabs, with AI helping them in real-time to build search content and problem logic.
Alphabet Inc. Class C executives stated that the goal of the company is to completely eliminate the switching barriers between traditional search and AI dialogue modes. Head of Alphabet Inc. Class C Search, Elizabeth Reid, mentioned that users no longer want to deliberately differentiate between "traditional search" and "AI mode".
In addition to the search upgrade, Alphabet Inc. Class C also introduced a new AI tool called "Information Agents". These AI agents can autonomously browse websites, e-commerce platforms, and social media based on user needs to help with tasks such as finding apartments and tracking product prices. It is reported that this feature will be available to Alphabet Inc. Class C AI Pro and Ultra subscription users in the summer of 2026.
