Considering the time needed from signing a sales contract to submitting it for registration with the Land Registry, the registered cases in April generally reflect the market conditions of March, showing that since the escalation of geopolitical tensions in the Middle East at the end of February, the trading performance of the Hong Kong property market has been consistently positive. In terms of residential properties, 7,729 first-hand private homes and second-hand homes were registered in April, an increase of approximately 14.3% from March's 6,763 registrations; The total registration amount was approximately HK$64.867 billion, an increase of approximately 14.4% from March's HK$56.687 billion. For non-residential properties, 452 commercial properties were registered in April, an increase of approximately 7.6% from March's 420 registrations; The total registration amount was approximately HK$6.908 billion, a significant increase of approximately 49.6% from March's HK$4.619 billion; The increase in registered amounts for commercial properties in April was mainly due to the registration of several large commercial buildings transactions during the period. As for pure parking spaces and other non-residential properties, 446 properties were registered in April, a decrease of approximately 11.3% from March's 503 registrations.
