CONCORD NE(00182) rose nearly 9%, as of press time, up 7.25%, at HK$0.37, with a turnover of HK$125.133 million. On the news front, on April 16th, the company announced that its 1GW capacity data center has completed a large-scale load connection study and obtained grid connection permission from ERCOT. The data center is adjacent to the group's existing utility-scale solar and energy storage projects, and can form a "solar+storage+data center" on-site power supply mode. Guoyuan International released a research report stating that the scarcity and value of ERCOT grid connection permits cannot be ignored, and expected progress in subsequent financing and data center PPA signing. The report points out that the 660MW solar PPA in the United States is locked in for 15 years, and the 1GW data center has obtained grid connection permission; the economic viability of the US project is significantly better than that of the domestic market, with profitability and certainty guaranteed. The company's strategy is undergoing a fundamental shift: focusing on overseas holding long-term PPA assets with high profitability certainty, and moving towards light asset management in the domestic market. Approximately 300MW will be newly commissioned in China by 2026, with projects starting from 2025 mainly coming to an end, and new projects will no longer focus on heavy asset holding, transitioning to a BT model.
