In recent news, RoboSenseROBOSENSE held its 2026 Tech Day in Shenzhen, where it publicly unveiled its chip strategic evolution roadmap and technological achievements for the first time. Two flagship SPAD-SoC products based on the new "Genesis" digital architecture were unveiled: Phoenix series, positioned as a single-chip native ultra-high line count, and Peacock series, positioned as a full solid-state high-resolution large array. Both chips achieve intergenerational industry-leading performance and are expected to be mass-produced by 2026. CICC believes that SPAD enables breakthrough performance for LiDAR, and is expected to continuously iterate costs and performance under the push of Moore's Law. According to the company's public account, the 4-million-pixel LiDAR solution based on the "Phoenix" chip has been designated by leading automotive companies and will be mass-produced by 2026. The "Peacock" chip is a flagship-level full solid-state large array SPAD-SoC, integrating a 640480 high-density SPAD array, with a field of view of 180135, supporting high frame rates of 10-30HZ and millimeter-level detection accuracy. The company plans to achieve formal mass production in 3Q26, with some related products already delivered in small batches to customers. This chip is expected to open up applications in automotive blind spot radars, Siasun Robot&Automation, and other markets.
